To schedule an appointment with Rena Margulis, please call 856-354-0547 or send e-mail to info@tandempoint.com. Please use the word "Therapy" in the subject line. Please provide your telephone number and the hours that you can be reached at that number. Therapy appointments are available on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with evening appointments on Wednesdays.

Because flying can lead to dehydration, it is recommended that you choose to schedule your appointment at least 24 hours after any airplane flight. If you have pain, it is recommended that you schedule so as to permit "down time" after your appointment. You will not want to attend a business meeting, do your taxes, go to the theater, go to the gym, or go dancing after a Tandem Point session. Also, select a time when you can adequately prepare for your appointment.

Appointments with Rena Margulis are for 50 minutes. At your first appointment, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork.

Double appointments:

If you are flying in for your Tandem Point appointment, or if you are driving from two or more hours distant, please consider booking a double appointment, which is two consecutive 50-minute appointments. If you will be driving from two or more hours distant, it is strongly recommended that you have someone else drive you to your appointment or that you stay overnight in the greater Philadelphia area.

 
Insurance coverage:

Tandem Point therapy is usually not covered by insurance. However, if you would like to submit a record of your therapy in order to request insurance coverage, we would be glad to provide you such a record. If you have been the victim of an auto accident caused by someone else, please consult with your attorney about being reimbursed for Tandem Point therapy.

 
Cancellation policy:

If you need to cancel, please do so as early as possible. Someone else in pain will want that time. There is no charge if you cancel your appointment by using the on-line scheduling service, by e-mail, or by phone more than three days before your appointment. Within three days of your appointment, you must call to cancel, and you are subject to a $45 late cancel fee unless your appointment is rebooked or you are ill. The more notice is provided, the easier it is to rebook an appointment, so please cancel early rather than late. Late cancellations are very time-consuming, so this policy holds down costs for everyone. The no-show fee is $80.

 
Cancellation due to illness:

Please cancel your appointment if you become ill. Any form of acupressure, massage, or other bodywork is generally contraindicated if you are sick—it may make you sicker. Cancellation charges will be suspended for clients who are ill, if the clients call before 10 a.m. on the day of their appointment.
